Selena Gomez Has Found the Perfect Spring Wedding Look
Finding the perfect wedding dress is famously difficult, but deciding what to wear as a guest can be just as challenging. Luckily, Selena Gomez gave a quick lesson in easy spring wedding style this weekend, while attending Wizards of Waverly Place costar David Henrie’s ceremony in California.
Gomez has romantic getaway dressing down pat, as we’ve seen during her far-flung dates with The Weeknd. But it seems that her sartorial talent works for destination weddings, too. She rose to the occasion in a knit Emilia Wickstead dress plucked right off the Fall 2017 runway. Its maxi length made for a modest silhouette that fit the formal dress code, but Gomez offset its covered-up nature with a few cut-outs to reveal just a sliver of skin. Those subtle details kept the look fashion-forward, but not over-the-top, while pretty Heidi-style braids showed off a pair of unexpectedly oversize hoop earrings by Jennifer Fisher. Classic Jimmy Choo pumps in a neutral shade kept the look chic, but simple, in order to keep the focus on the happy couple.
