#BlackLivesMatter: Rihanna, Quincy Jones, Spotify, others across the music industry, and social media shed light on racism after the deaths of George Floydand other black Americans at the hands of police brutality.
Artists and entertainers including Drake, Kevin Hart, The Weeknd, and Rihanna showed their support this Tuesday on social media, by sharing a black photo and using the hashtags #blackouttuesday and #theshowmustbepaused to help draw attention to the effort.

Rihanna captioned her Blackout Tuesday post and tagging her beauty and fashion brands.
Other Instagram stars, Eri Anton, Katelyn Rae Byrd, Elina Jotie, and Neyleen Ashley also stood in solidarity by sharing blacked out photos. Neyleen Ashley; a Cuban-American model and aspiring actress known for taking the Internet and social media by storm in 2016; said she’s been “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
